On the beautiful California gold coast of Santa Barbara in Goleta.
The weeks leading up to this surprise proposal were filled with texts of plan details and I looked forward to each one. The future groom was so excited and it was contagious. At the perfect spot on the bluff above Gaviota beach, the amazing hotel staff laid out a beautiful champagne picnic. What a view!
Concierge, the future groom and I were in constant contact via group text as to the movements of the couple. And just as planned, they came walking up the path from the beach. Hidden in the brush, I was in the prefect position to capture the moment he knelt down on one knee. She. Said. Yes!
Jake and Shira, I wish you a life time of happiness and many more moments of joy together.
The stage was set with a lovely valentines day picnic....
And as I hid in the brush waiting for the perfect moment, it happened.
